Relief efforts to support the financial sustenance of struggling parties across various walks of life have thus far been heartwarming, and this commercial gesture by Facebook figures to be well-received news for places that might be wondering what the rest of 2020 might yield for their identity as goods and services providers. Up to 30,000 eligible small businesses will earn cash grants and ad credits, with the social media heavyweight mentioning via a blog post that it will begin taking applications in the coming weeks.
To businesses seeking assistance, Facebook promises an assortment of means to help them. The blog cites keeping a location’s workforce going strong, helping with rent costs, connecting with more customers and covering operational costs as some examples of what the grants could end up doing.
